Our Mission

Keep Dixon Green is a grassroots organization dedicated to the preservation of open spaces and the agricultural heritage unique to Dixon, California. We empower community members by amplifying local voices, promoting informed advocacy, and opposing unsustainable growth that threatens our farmland, environment, and quality of life. Through collective action and civic engagement, we aim to protect Dixon’s character and natural resources. Join us and make your voice heard

Slow growth is healthy growth

Over the past five years, the Dixon City Council has approved several new major developments, significantly increasing the city's population.  The two residential projects currently approved (Homestead and Campus) will add more than 3,000 homes to Dixon upon completion.

Keep Dixon Green believes the current rate of growth is unsustainable, strains our infrastructure, and risks losing our open spaces and unique agricultural character.

Join us by contacting your City Council representative today and urging them to limit growth to the minimum required by the state, so our infrastructure can grow at a healthy pace, in tandem with our population.

It's more important than ever that our elected leaders hear from their constituents. The decisions made today will ultimately shape the future of Dixon and impact our entire community for generations.
